This data set provides pesticide sample analyses results for stream water samples for the province’s Pesticide Monitoring Program.
The sampling includes a total of 9 rivers across PEI, with at least 3 of the rivers being sampled each year.
Stream water samples are collected at least once per year during wet weather sampling conditions.
Department staff collects the samples, which are then sent to a laboratory for analysis.
This Data set provides detailed information about the quality of drinking water. The application provides a summary of the on-going testing of drinking water done by the Prince Edward Island Analytical Laboratories.
The summary results will show values for the following parameters: alkalinity, cadmium, calcium, chloride, chromium, iron, magnesium, manganese, nickel, nitrate, pH, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and sulfate.
Groundwater level search results include data from 14 groundwater level observation wells across PEI; mapped locations of observation wells; graphs; and downloadable raw data. The groundwater level data provides long-term trend information, both historical and real-time, on groundwater levels.
Reports the total number of Government of Prince Edward Island employees as of the last pay period processed in December of each year.
Classified employees include permanent, probationary and provisional employees. Unclassified employees include casual, temporary, contract and student employees. Unclassified employees reported includes the total number of employees who received pay as of the last pay period in December.
Stream level data is available for a number of streams across the province. New Stream level data can be collected from June through September. Those who hold a Water Withdrawal for Irrigation Purposes Permit can use this tool to confirm the water level in Island streams, and to determine whether they may legally draw water for irrigation purposes.
